Popis: | 104 This paper discusses about medical treatment of "dialysis" and its necessity by an action research of researcher’s personal experience. Researcher, an experienced peritoneal dialysis and currently an end-stage renal failure patient, extends his own life due to Hemodialysis performing. He is a patient being treated and an observer by participating in the world of kidney dialysis. The thesis consists of 10 chapters as follows: 1.The generation of dialysis medical behavior and its history in Taiwan for the historical conditions and present situation of dialysis therapy. 2.Using essential medicine of dialysis patients to explore complicated relationships among medical treatment, drugs, patients, health care, druggist and the market. 3.To describe dialysis patients’ difficulties in daily life and the dilemma of irrecusably medical treatment for extending own life. 4.The psychological impact and choice of action regarding black market for organ donation for kidney transplant waiting patients 5.How patients in a variety of medical treatment to express self-opinion without exposing themselves to the risk and recapturing the patient's subjectivity and power. 6.The progress from self-struggle and limitation to self-achievement of how a disabled person faces workplace weakening due to dialysis. 7.To introspect the topic of self-intimacy and death and learn the solitude of life, inspired by the limitation what kidney dialysis has brought for the patient. 8.Using storytelling to present the other point of view of kidney dialysis. 9.The study of the self- integration 10.On the road to self- fulfillment. With personal experience of long and non-stop medical treatment of kidney dialysis, the researcher uses his own voice to describe, speak, act and introspect his feeling in this paper and hopes to let the readers further think about the necessity of modern medical treatment and how the take back patient's subjectivity, autonomy and power. By the progress of the change, action and self-growth of the researcher, people suffering illness can find its meaning and seek other possible for life and take own action again. |
