But the domestic hotel industry in the past than it is today so competitive business environment, coupled with the past by key industry uphold the hard traditional and conservative management, not because of the size of the hotel in general, unlike international or general tourist hotel facilities complete specifications, it is for the information of demand is not high, and even that modest manpower to manage the hotel is more reliable and effective than the computer, but failed to take advantage of this technology tools, resulting in information technology has been relatively backward. But the face of the twenty-first century in the business competition and rising labor costs sound, coupled with recent years, Taiwans tourism policy is open, the number of domestic investment in the hotel industry at home increased rapidly, competition is more intense, the hotel owners to import information management system more positive attention, in order to enhance the efficiency of the hotel, will be the inevitable trend of management focus. Hotel owners how to understand than the selection of outsourcing information systems, information systems to worry about the past, the enterprise imported case has its failure risks, hotel owners have different investment industry background, but the hotel itself is relatively non-business management experience, the authors found that there are very few hotel information system selection information refer to the relevant literature, it is hoped, the views of scholars and experts to obtain information through the conventional objective system outsourcing outsourcing literature selection criteria,carried out through semi-structured interviews, follow-up case for locking hostel supervisor depth interviews, try to identify the key criteria and other findings.
