A study of the relationships between narcissism, the desire of fame, the motivation and behavior of selfie.

| Popis: | 104 The main purposes of this study were to explore the relationships among high school students’ narcissism, the desire of fame, the motivation and behavior of selfie. relationships in the classroom and internet of junior high school students. The study was conducted through the questionnaire-survey method. Subjects were 608 high school students from Taoyuan City, Hsinchu City & Miaoli City. The collected data underwent descriptive statistics, Factor Analysis, reliability analysis, T-test, one-way analysis of variance, Pearson’s correlation, Structural Equation Modeling the SPSS 21.0. The results of the study were as follows: (a) There were significant differences in the different background variables of the high school students’ narcissism, the desire of fame, the motivation and behavior of selfie. (b) There were significant positive correlations in narcissism and the desire of fame. (c) Narcissism could significantly predict the motivation of selfie. (d) The desire of fame could significantly predict the motivation of selfie. (e) The motivation of selfie could significantly predict the behavior of selfie. The suggests for parents, school, and future researchers were made according to the results in the study. |
