This research used SDS, Triton X-100 to disperse single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs).The single-walled carbon nanotubes were pre-treated with sulfuric acid to make carbon nanotubes disperse in the water. Carbon nanotubes were measured by grating spectrometer to analysis the effect of the dispersion. The result showed that pre-treatment of sulfuric acid on carbon in 120°C and 12 hours had better performance. The mental and semiconducting carbon nanotubes were separated by agarose gel electrophoresis. The obvious effect of separation was used 0.4% gel. After electrophoresis, carbon nanotubes were examined by Raman spectrometer to analysis RBM Spectrum. According to Katarua plot, it can judge the metallic and semiconducting characteristics. The sample measured by grating spectrometer, transferring transmittance to absorption coefficient to get energy gap. And the semiconducting carbon nanotubes might be used in FETs in the future.
