Popis: | 103 Time scale and pitch scale modification methods have been commonly used in many audio and speech signal applications, including voice mail system, language learning aids, telephone recorder and music key shifting [1-9]. Because we want the computation loads of time scale and pitch scale modification to be low, choosing the better way is very important. The Objective of this thesis is to study time scale and pitch scale modification methods for audio signals, including linear predictive coding (LPC), overlap and add (OLA) combining resampling method. Firstly, we will introduce the concepts of those two algorithms. Secondly, we will pay attention on the advantages and disadvantages of these methods. At the end, we will compare these methods by comparing computation time and quality of the processed audio signals. This thesis is intended to help potential users to know how to choose appropriate time scale and pitch scale modification methods for audio signals based on their own resource and environment. |
