The Reasearch of Tourist's Motivation and Satisfaction in National Scenic Area -A Case Study in Dapeng Bay.

| Popis: | 103 The purpose of this study was to explore the current situation of the traveling motivations and the satisfaction for the tourists to the Dapeng Bay National Scenic Area. This study also inquired the effect of personal background variables on tourists’ traveling motivations and the satisfaction respectively. The questionnaire was designed to collect the data from the tourists at the Dapeng Bay National Scenic Area. By means of random sampling, 397 copies were valid. The collected data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA and Pearson correlation by SPSS for Windows 12.0. The findings indicated as follows: 1. In “local features’ in the stratification plane, under an age 21 year-old tourist has higher motivation than 31-40 and 41-50 year-old tourist. 2. In “sports and fitness” in the stratification plan, tourists with a high school (or vocational school) degree has higher motivation than a college (or university) or graduate degree. 3. Tourists who traveled by motorcycles has greater motivation than those who by cars in terms of “sports and fitness”. 4. Tourists who acquired travel information from their friends had higher motivation than acquired it from other people in terms of “local features”. 5. Comparing to female tourists, male tourists had higher satisfaction at “service quality” and “natural landscapes”. 6. Comparing to married tourists, unmarried tourists had more satisfaction at “recreation facility”, “public facility”, “service quality” and “natural landscapes”. 7. Tourists who traveled with the colleagues had higher satisfaction than traveled with other tourists in terms of “natural landscapes”. Finally, suggestions, based on the findings above, were proposed to the Dapeng Bay National Scenic Area Administration, local business owners and future researchers, hoping to serve as reference.
