| Popis: | 103 This research studies the application of dispatching rules with simulation to analyze and improve chip process in the LED chip factory. The performance measures used to evaluate the chip process are hit rate and production cycle time. ProModel 6.0 simulation software is selected to develop a simulation model of the chip process. First In First Out (FIFO), Earliest Due Date (EDD) and Shortest Processing Time (SPT) dispatching rules are used to evaluate the performances of chip process. Simulation results show that EDD dispatching rule has the best performance of hit rate and production cycle time. Key words: hit rate, dispatching rule, scheduling |
