Popis: | 103 The purpose of this study is to obtain an overall assessment of the performance appraisal system currently applied in VietinBank Thanh Xuan. To achieve the purpose of research, qualitative research methods were used to study through doing interviews with managers and staff of VietinBank Thanh Xuan, based on the depth semi-structured questionnaire. The framework of this study focuses on analyzing six basic requirements of the performance appraisal system. The study results show that VietinBank Thanh Xuan, which concerns about the quality of performance assessment, has developed a fair and full appraisal system meeting the expectations of managers and satisfaction of employees. The study also shows the shortcomings, the uncompleted contents of the system and factors affecting the results of staff assessment. Additionally, the study also indicates the possibility to improve and enhance the quality and efficiency of the employee performance appraisal in VietinBank Thanh Xuan. Selecting VietinBank Thanh Xuan as the case study reflects the employee performance appraisal assessment in most of branches in VietinBank. Therefore, the study results can be the basis of reference for completing the performance appraisal system in other branches in VietinBank system and also other banks in Vietnam. |
