Popis: | 103 The objective of this study was to investigate effect of hybrid ultrasonic vibration and plasma welding on the microstructure and properties in A36 steel and SUS 304 stainless steel dissimilar welds. In order to investigate the influence of ultrasonic vibration toward the organization and quality of welding dissimilar metals, the ultrasonic vibration and 308L packing material metals have been employed during the welding process. The direction of ultrasonic vibration was perpendicular to the welding specimen. The research contents included plasma welding, micro-hardness test, tensile test, bending test, optical microscope examination, XRD analysis, SEM observation and EDS analysis. The results of the research reveal ultrasonic-aided welding has influences on weld outline and the molten depth of weld is larger. Metallographic organization observation discovered that carbon steel base material is the mixture organization of pearlite and ferrite. Stainless steel is the organization of austenite. The organization of weld is the mixture of some ferrite and martensite, except for plasma welding without packing which is martensite. The ultrasonic vibration and 308L packing material metals can promote that ferrite precipitated in molten weld metal. The organization of heat affected zone on carbon steel and stainless steel has obvious phenomenon of re-crystallization and grain growth. The micro-hardness test reveals the fact that the value of weld hardness is higher than HAZ and base metal. The XRD analysis shows the influences on the anti-corrode quality in welding products with the effusion of carbon chromium on weld. SEM observation and EDS element analysis shows the fact ultrasonic vibration welding has no noticeable influences on the homogeneity of the component in weld.
