A Contemplation of Diversification Strategy on Business Group- The Case of Wowprime Group

Diet plays an important role in our daily life. For the consumers who want more elegant meals, not only require a pleasant environment, but also need the eating quality and service. Food industry has to provide higher quality of service to retain their customers. For increasing the competitiveness, product differentiation among the food industry has become a magnificent element in business diversification. This research studies the effect of conglomerate diversification strategy. We took Wowprime group as the object of study and analyzed their diversified business operations, strategy, and development. This study used qualitative case as the main study method, document analysis and SWOT analysis as the supplements. We found that Wang group’s factors of success are as follows: (1) integrated marketing strategy. (2) clear business goals. (3) focus and expand business field. By holding his core values and competencies, the wang group forms their own competitive advantage. They also grasp the opportunities to expand the business territory for future business demands. Only companies have good intents and strategies can survive in the future food market.
