Popis: | 103 Authoritarian politics in Malaysia, in 2008 experienced a "308 Political Tsunami". After five years, The Malaysian General Elections of 2013(GE13), causing global concern. GE13 results more "308 Political Tsunami" intense. Research motivation of this paper is the People Alliance (PR) How to obtain the support of the entire Chinese voters. Chinese support for the Barisan Nasional (BN) from the past or to abstain from voting to invest into the PR of the reasons becomes this thesis Research Questions. This thesis uses literature survey method. What are the social atmosphere of Bandwagon Effect and Underdog Effect on "308 Political Tsunami", PR political marketing, 2008 to 2013 political events and other factors to done, are this purpose of thesis. Bandwagon effect of Chinese voting behavior in Party is known as “Just Vote” the simple action, and then will success to change Government. In thesis Bandwagon effect was analyzed from: 1.history, 2. Political Party of systems, 3. Government failure, 4. "308 Political Tsunami". Underdog effect was analyzed from: 1. PR demand of Party Alternation, 2. Policy unfair. Chinese awareness was analyzed from: 1. Social events and Political scandal, 2. Internet Popularity, 3. Political Marketing of PR. This thesis concludes: 1. Anwar Ibrahim no immediate impact Chinese Voting, 2. low-threshold impact Chinese of bandwagon, 3. Chinese of bandwagon strengthen by MCA. In brief, Bandwagon and Underdog Effect appear randomly, and they need cross the threshold. Political Participation strength depends on low-threshold and Underdog Effect support Bandwagon Effect. |
