A Survey of Mariae Education of the Marine Science Museums in Taiwan

| Popis: | 103 Confronting with a main concern all over the world that human beings make more efforts to protect marine ecology, to explore, to best use and to sustainably manage marine resources, Ministry of Education in Taiwan has officially implemented marine education overall in 2011. Besides the marine lessons and activities that formal schools provide, there is another concern that non-official educational institutions can also promote and develop marine education. This research is to study the marine education promoted by marine ecological museums (oceanariums) in Taiwan. The researcher uses the following methods to proceed with the research: 1. The interview questionnaires from the visitors of oceannariums. 2. The interview questionnaires from the staff of oceannariums. 3. The researcher’s observation in real-settings of oceannariums. The researcher collects 144 valid questionnaires out of 145 from visitors, 6 reports on observation in real-settings, 6 valid interview questionnaires from the staff of oceannariums.
