| Popis: | 103 The purpose of this study is to improve the ninth grade students’ attitude toward science news and their science achievements though science news. Quasi-experiment and convenient sampling from a junior high school in Taoyuan is adopted. The experimental group (N=68) received the science instruction with the science news. The teaching period lasted for 3 weeks, 4 hours a week. Before and after the instruction, all of the students were asked to complete the questionnaire of students' attitude toward science news and knowledge tests. The processs as supplementary teaching materials extendsion is combined TVBS news : Different Science News (DSN). The tendency of exam changes is more flexible and emphasizes on reading.
