The study adopted action research on using drama strategies to enhance the sixth grade students’ English reading comprehension and interpretation in the curriculum of English Learning Area and Art and Humanism Learning Area. Researcher analyzed the learning effects of using drama strategies to enhance the English questionnaires, students’ learning sheets, students’ scripts, class videos and so on. According to the research, using drama strategies in teaching can enhance students’ learning interesting and language abilities. Otherwise, researcher design question lists according to respect reader’s response and multiple culture in reader’s-response theory. The research also helps students link English picture books and their experiences by using drama and reading comprehension strategies. After group discussion, students can create their script and present their drama. The research shows that students agree that using drama strategies in English reading comprehension and interpretation teaching is interesting, stimulating their imagination and self-achievement. After all, students can practice their English skills in this learning method.
