Popis: | 103 In order to develop supplementary teaching aids of regular polygon, this study based on the law of Geometrical Optics makes use of bi-mirror to design the teaching aids and materials of “Magic-Mirror Polygon.”The researching process was divided into two phases, including design and development, and popularization. Experts checklist, and the implementary questionnaires between teachers and students were used to collect and analyze the researching result. The phase of design and development included the analysis of scientific contents and the design of teaching materials. The law of Geometrical Optics and Trigonometric Function were used to analyze the scientific contents of ” Magic-Mirror Polygon.”From the views of users to analyze and process the design and making of teaching aids, the process of the research included students’ implementation and experts’ checking which contained two processes of circular modifications. The studying objects of the procedure of students’ implementations were twenty seventh and eighth grade students in one junior high school in Taichung City, who were chosen through the filtering of grades. They were put into the implementation to explore the applicability of the manufacture and the materials of the aids and the suitability of the teaching contents. The procedure of experts’ checking was to invite four junior high school math teachers to modify and offer suggestions according to the teaching aids and materials which were completed by the process of implementation. The way of popularization contained two phases, teaching popularization and experts’ popularization. In the stage of teaching popularization, a senior math teacher was invited to practice instruction in three randomly-chosen classes in one junior high school in Taichung City. The investigation of questionnaires was used to discuss junior high school students’ points of view and the evaluation of the teaching aids and materials. The implementation of teachers was through the group courses of junior high math teachers. Twenty teachers were invited to practice the implementation and questionnaires were used to collect teachers’ opinions to obtain the points of view and the evaluation of this teaching aid and material. The data of questionnaires, the records of observation and the data of teachers’ interview with students were tri-modified. The main researching results are as following: (1) Isosceles triangles can produce random mirrors of regular polygons, including many regular polygons which cannot be produced by the construction with ruler and compass through multiple mirror reflections by the help of the teaching aids of ” Magic-Mirror Polygon.” (2) The teaching aids of ” Magic-Mirror Polygon” which are completed by laminate panels and mirror stickers are most accepted by testees. (3) The testees of junior high math teachers and students all think that the teaching aids have the advantages of “stimulating users’ interests and curiosity”, “easiness to assemble, simpleness to manipulate, and obvious effects”, “the help to understand related scientific principles”, “teachers’ high willness of application in teaching”, and “the design of the teaching materials corresponding to the math Competence Indicators of Grade 1-9 Curriculum.” (4) The teaching aids can help tested students to achieve effective learning with the concepts of “being able to use the concept of line symmetry to understand plane figures such as regular polygons”, “being able to understand the meaning of line symmetry and apply it to the understanding of plane figures’ geometrical qualities”, and “ being able to understand convex polygons’ formulas of angle sum of a triangle and sum of exterior angles.” (5) Teachers’ guides are necessary for low-level students and those in worse learning situations. |
