Popis: | 103 This research aims to develop a human-machine-interface (HMI) based nutrient solution irrigation system which applies to hydroponics cultivation for plant. The proposed system includes personal computer, microcontrollers, flow-meter modules, water quality monitor modules ( pH, EC, DO, solutions Temp), ion electrode sensing modules ( potassium, calcium, magnesium, sodium, and chlorine ), the peripheral circuit, power modules, pipe, nutrient solution storage tank, and liquid-regulating valve. The five types of flow rate of nutrient solution are controlled, respectively, by a microcontroller, which drives flow control valves. The user can select the desired plant name on the HMI or setup nutrient solution concentrations manually, which results in an automatic deployment of nutrient solution for plant growth (by default, five types of plant nutrient solution database are stored in memory). Meanwhile, the current nutrient solution concentrations within a cultivation bed are shown in HMI. The experiment is conducted in a cultivation bed (120 cm60 cm11 cm (LWH)) with a lighting emitting diode (LED) lighting board. The experiment results demonstrate that each of tolerable concentration range of nutrient solutions can be maintained by using the proposed system. |
