Vehicle market includes manufacturing, selling and after-sales service. With the increase of sales volume and the number of vehicles, auto service maintenance of research shows that the rear end of the vehicle repair market is far greater than the benefits of front-end sales. Therefore, in order to increase customer satisfaction, how to improve the maintenance and service processes, and how to maintain high operating efficiency are key factors of this issue. The main theme of this study is the application of simulation in regular vehicle maintenance process. After observing and recording the on-site regular vehicle maintenance operating procedures, in order to analyze and use the analog mode to simulate vehicle maintenance process, the maintenance project is divided into five categories: engine, chassis, electrical system, body and car wash. The results of my experiment showed that changing the order of maintenance operating procedure (within the same maintenance categories) defines the Procedure 2 can be shortened 30 seconds when it compares to the Procedure 1. Calculating as the actual one day capacity of the car plant: 50 cars, it can save 1500 seconds. In terms of 10,000 kilometers of the standard original manufacturer, Procedure 2 can be shortened 269 seconds. Furthermore, comparing with the actual maintenance operating process in car plant, Procedure 2 can be shortened 85 seconds. Calculating as the actual one day capacity of the car plant: 50 cars, it can save 4250 seconds and 13450 seconds. It also can increase the amount of maintenance and efficiency. This research can be referred to on-site maintenance to improve the operating processes.
