| Popis: | 103 This study is to explore the operating efficiency of property and casualty insurance companies under the financial holding company and non-financial holding. By exploiting the financial statement of those companies during 2002 to 2013 to analyze how the written premium income affect the operation expense, reinsurance expense and retained earnings. Then, the Hausman test is applied to select the appropriate model. The result finds out: 1.There is positive relationship between the written premium income of the P&C insurance companies under the financial holding company and non-financial holding and net reinsurance expenses. 2. There is negative relationship between the written premium income and operation expense for P&C insurance companies under the financial holding company. 3. There is positive relationship between the written premium income and retained earnings for P&C insurance companies under the financial holding company. |
