In recent years, backed by blooming economy, People’s Republic of China’s general strength has increased significantly. Likewise, the military power of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) also has a leaping development in the same time. Especially based on it’s Military-Diplomacy strategic guidance, PLA actively involves in joint operation exercises with other countries, which in turn has also speeded up its modernization progress. This study focuses on all PLA’s joint exercises with other countries between 2002 to 2014- categorized by frequency, areas, characteristics, differentiation, countries taking part, and organizations. The purpose was to uncover the hidden concept by cross referencing with all relative data and information. Surprisingly, ever since PLA started its multi-countries joint exercises, not only the number of annual excises has increased, but its footprint has covered all major oceans around the world. PLA also achieved its multi-strategic goals of “ Deter potential threat country, friend neighbor, explore source of energy, arms sales, equipment demonstration, validation of military theory, and develop overseas strategic support points.” It was found that PLA has successfully reshuffled the regional equilibrium in Asia led by US through its military, economy, and diplomatic influence. It also showed that PLA can openly compete with other countries in international society with greater confidence.
