A Study on Role Stress and Job Satisfaction of Full-Time Personnel Administrators of Public Elementary School in New Taipei City

| Popis: | 103 The present studyaims at investigating the current situation of the relation of the role stress and job satisfication of full time personnel adminstrators in public elementary schools in New Taipei City. This study examines the following domains: First, the condition of role stress and job satisfication of full time personnel adminstrators in public elementary schools in New Taipei City; second, the differences of role stress and job satisfication among the administrators with different backgrounds; third, the variation of job satisfication with different degrees of role stress; fourth, the relation of the role stress of personnel adminstrators in elementary school and job satisfication.Questionnaire was employed as the research method to collect data.The subjects were 142 full time personnel adminstrators in public elementary schools in New Taipei City. 74 valid recycling questionnaires were collected, constituting 52% in total. The collected data were analyzed with T-test, ANOVA, and Spearman revelance. The results are below: 1.The feeling of role stress is medium. The variant of role overload of quality is significant. 2.The feeling of job satisfication is medium-high. The variant of relation (social interaction) is significant. 3.Age,working experience,and the scale of school affect the feeling of the role stress of personnel administrators. 4.Age, working experience, and gender affect the feeling of the job satisfication of personnel administrators. 5.Personnel administrators’ job satisfication varies according to the different degrees of role stress. The ones who have lower stress have higher job satisfication. 6.The revelance of role stress and job satisfication is negative, higher role stress with lower job satisfication. According to the results, this study will provide some suggestions for personnel adminstrations, schools, and personnel adminstrators. |
