Popis: | 103 This study is to explore the relation between job content and job satisfaction of urban elementary school teachers. This study adopts the questionnaire survey method, doing the research on the Job Content and Job Satisfaction of Urban Elementary School Teachers Questionnaire made by literature review and expert opinions. It takes the national elementary school teachers in Shuanghe District of New Taipei city in 2014 as research object. It adopts the way of stratified proportional sampling, extracting 450 elementary school teachers from 5 public schools in Shuanghe District of New Taipei city. And there are 391 valid questionnaires, the recovery rate of effective questionnaire was 87%. Using the descriptive statistics, Independent-Samples T Test, One-way Analysis of Variance, Pearson Product-Moment Correlation, and Stepwise Multiple Regression do data analysis. Analyze the job content project of centralized area by the IPA Model based on the importance - practice questionnaire, and analyze the job satisfaction project which needs further improvement by I-S Model based on the Importance-Satisfaction questionnaire. The results of the study are as follows: I.Both elementary school teachers' work content and job satisfaction belong to upper middle level. II.The job content and job satisfaction of elementary school teachers with different background variables have significant differences. III.Elementary school teachers' job content and job satisfaction has moderate to low positive correlation. IV.Elementary school teachers' job content can predict teachers’ job satisfaction. V.The teacher’s job content needs to be strengthen and improved in the dimensions of textbook compilation, giving lessons, learning evaluation and professional development activities. VI.The teacher job satisfaction needs to be strengthened and improved in the dimensions of wages and welfare, further promotion and interpersonal relationship. Finally, according to the results and discussion, this study provides suggestions for education authorities, school administrative units, elementary school teachers and future researchers. |
