| Popis: | 103 The substance of this essay is to explore the religious therapy which has been applying since the ancient till now.This phenomenon ofpeople asking for help from the religious folk therapy is ratherincreasing than decreasing. Why there are still many people ask for assistance from the religious folk therapyin the advanced medical society? What is the benefit from the religious folk therapy to the public? The essence of religious phenomenon in Taiwan is diversified.Each religion has its way of therapy as well. This case study is completed inthree different purviews with varyinterviews and surveys to explore the motives and thoughtsof believers who ask for help from the religious therapy to research the actual function and assistance of the religious therapyto the believers. It also explores the symbolic meaning and cultural significance in the course of the religious therapy as well as the religious symbol to the believers. Cultural phenomenon of religious therapy is deep-rooted and general. The therapeutic pattern is mainly by virtue of the supernatural power of religion to achieve the therapeutic goal. It is a power of religion. With the spiritual reliance and support from the religious belief, it can satisfy the mental requirement to the help seeker, thus people are deeply fond of this faith power.In compliance with each religious faith, the aid seekers choose a suitable way oftherapy of their own to gain the support in soul,have an outlet for uneasy mood, untie the difficulties, and rekindle the confidence and hope in life.It enables the body and soul to reach a stable and peaceful state.
