Purpose: Research Patients’ characteristics, to find a higher probability of treatment success while reducing the side effects and reducing medial cost. Methods: Collected 183 patients with chronic hepatitis C, analysis of the collected patients by 16 patient characteristics including very rapid viral response prediction. Result: 99% of patients who has very-rapid viral response at second week of treatment will have sustained virological response at one year even only received treatment for 6 months. Conclusion: Very-Rapid viral response is a more powerful prediction about the need of treatment duration than rapid viral response.
