The Study of the Leisure Constraints Factor Analysis of Junior High School Students in Miaoli County.

| Popis: | 102 The purpose of this study was to investigate leisure constraint factors of junior high school students in Miaoli county at differences among different background variables. The study is adopted questionnaire survey to proceed “Stratified Random Sampling” for junior high school students in Miaoli county. Obtained 824 effective and established them by SPSS (18.0 version) for windows suite software, finally used T-test and one-way ANOVA for data analysis. The results are as follows： First, to compare participation in leisure activities for junior high school students in Miaoli, the boys are majority. Second, frequency of leisure was showed mostly in 6-9 times a month. Third, to go into leisure activities with friends is the main portion. In assessment of leisure barriers, in fact, most junior high school students place important on leisure activity and like to go into it, although some intrinsic factors (such as personality, interests, physical strength) or extrinsic factor (such as time, pocket money, safetyness, friends’ accompaniment) might affect students’ decision whether to go into activities or not. While students participate in leisure activities, the convenience of leisure facilities, sanitation, crowdedness, transport tools, and activity information might also be concerned. Thus, if the factors mentioned above can be improved, they can increase junior high school students’ will to go into leisure activities and the participation times. |
