| Popis: | 102 Keywords: The Peach Colony, Chinese landscape painting, subconscious, urbanite The thesis is to reveal how the author as an urbanite of Taipei is influenced by the surrounding environment, and try to examine how the pressure of daily life can be released by making artwork. In the beginning the author tried to simply depict the visible landscape in order to achieve inner calmness, but the desire gradually turns to expressing the mental landscape, to create series of artwork of personal peach colony. By examine my own artworks I realized that the elements of Chinese landscape painting and other related subjects are being used by me subconsciously due to the desire to escape from daily pressure. Occasionally I found that some artists had the same elements in their artworks and this triggered my interest to do the research of the similarity among these artists and myself, and to realize the deeper meaning of the true self revealed in my artworks. |
