臺灣與大陸華文網路語言之語域變體比較研究

| Popis: | 102 This study aims to investigate what kinds of netspeak lexicon were used and what were discussed by Johnny’s fans in Taiwan and China, and to examine whether there are differences on the lexical features of netspeak and discussion themes between Taiwanese fans and Mainland Chinese fans. The data were collected from two online forums: PTT JP_Johnnys in Taiwan and J-jia-xian-qing forum in China. The results showed significant differences on the lexical features of netspeak between these two groups. Taiwanese fans used loanwords, emoticons, and abbreviations most. Among the loanwords, Japanese loanwords were highly used, indicating that Taiwanese fans are quite familiar with Japanese language and prone to use it. Mainland Chinese fans used abbreviations most, corresponding to the time-saving feature of netspeak. Besides, they used more kinds of netspeak lexicon than Taiwanese fans did, which made their utterances more incomprehensible and obscurer. About the discussion themes, the results also showed significant differences between Taiwanese and Mainland Chinese fans. Taiwanese fans usually discussed “film/television/broadcast work”, “fans”, and “commodity exchanges”, and the discussion atmosphere was open, relaxed, and harmonious. Mainland Chinese fans discussed “idols” most. In this topic, the subtopics “appearances” and “status/ranking” were majorly discussed, which might reflect their concern about competition. |
