Why are some entrepreneurs more innovation than others? Global Entrepreneurship Monitor perspective

It is clear that the world comes with a lot of opportunities to start a new business. Entrepreneurship is crucial to the economic development of a country. Recent years, Taiwan government has dedicated to entrepreneurial activities. Furthermore, in 2014, the level of Global Entrepreneurship & Development Index of Taiwan not only ranks the seventh in the world, also is on the top in Asia. We can say that the entrepreneurial development of Taiwan in is beyond outstanding. In this research, Global Entrepreneurship Monitor was used as the database to analyze. The targets were the entrepreneurs in the initial state of Taiwan in 2011 and 2012. The purpose was to know why some entrepreneurs are more innovative than others. The influence of the width and the depth of a social capital, the income and the education of the entrepreneur were examined. And the result showed that, only the depth of the social capital can influence the type of the entrepreneurship. Other variables have no obvious impact on the start-ups in the primary stage.
