Effects of Using Office 365 Cloud Cooperative Learning on Learning Interest and Learning Outcomes in Junior High School: on 8th-Grade Mathematics Courses as an Example

| Popis: | 102 With the mature development of digital IT and cloud computing, innovative digital learning has become an unavoidable trend in the teaching processes of all schools. The continuous reforms and refinements of education systems implemented by MOE, for instance, the 9-Year Curriculum and the 12-Year Basic Education, display the social reflection on the goals and the future development of domestic education, which aim at enabling students to benefit from high-quality education as well as achieve high-efficiency learning outcomes in terms of knowledge, skills, and learning attitudes. The purposes of this present study are as the following. First, to devise a reliable and valid questionnaire, this study examined the learning outcomes of using Office 365 community network in the math education in junior high school through literature review, seminars, item analysis, and factor analysis. Moreover, the method of an experimental group versus a control group was adopted in this study. This method investigated the correlations among the personality traits, learning styles, computer anxiety, learning satisfaction, and learning outcomes of junior high school students in their math classes, which used Office 365 community network as an additional education platform. The subjects of this present study were 8th-grade students from a gifted class and two normal classes in a junior high school in Taiwan. In the students groups of different natures, the gifted class served as the experimental group, and the normal classes served as the control group. This study also examined if gender difference, the amount of time spent online, and different methods in math learning processes influence the correlations among the personality traits, learning styles, computer anxiety, learning satisfaction, and learning outcomes of junior high school students. |
