In this study, the speed test software Tems Pocket installed on an engineering-mode mobile phone was used to measure the key performance indicators (KPI) of packet switch (PS) signal parameters generated from eNode B between UE of the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) March, 2015 and April, 2015 and Taiwan High Speed Rail (HSR) March, 2015 and July, 2015. The measures signal parameters were then processed using the post processing software of Actix to examine the quality of the communication signals. The items of the KPI parameters that we were analyzed included Modulation Code Scheme (MCS), Reference Signal Received Power (RSRP), Channel Quality Indicator (CQI), and Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio (SINR). In addition to understand this type of Mass Rapid Transit radio channel signal quality and Information Bandwidth (Throughput) in the mobile, but also analysis quality on different SINR with environmental parameters corresponding to different modulation mode and Link Budget with MCS and signal coverage, and the parameters adjusted, and thus achieve the purpose of optimization of base station signals. After measurement and analysis, we found that Modulation Code Scheme (MCS) and the Channel Quality Indicator (CQI) and Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio (SINR) the most relevant, Reference Signal Received Power (RSRP) the lowest. In this paper, we design a formula of calculations MCS based on RF correlation. By comparison with the measured values, the CQI and SINR improved the correlation with calculated MCS and value is similar to MCS, which represents the base station selects MCS still room for optimization. In this study, in addition to the signal quality measurement and analysis for MRT, but also study and discussion LTE wireless channel quality moving at high speed for HSR.
