| Popis: | 102 Chen Ye（1959-2012）is a literary creator who was has a legendary background. She was born in a prominent Tainan family at the time. Chen Ye’s father was an adopted child, and her mother remarried after divorce. Because of her family background and her facial defects, people looked down on her. These suffering experiences become Chen Ye’s source of creation. Her novels were derived from the history of the family. By writing, she went through a process of healing and soul purification. In this paper, the author studied the theme of Chen Ye's"a seal Akagi" series novels. Chapter one explains the research motivation. After exploring other researchers’ researching results, the author introduces research methods and expected results. Also, Chen Ye's lifetime and the background of creation are put into an overall introduction. From Chapter two to chapter four, the author investigates Chen Ye’s series from the three aspects. The first one is “the memory of culture.” The gloomy family history in the story could be compared to the bad memories which the main character had. To illustrate the meaning of the spatial scene by comparing the memories and feelings of different spaces of one’s hometown and the foreign land. The second topic is the struggle of emotion, discussing more about the relationships between people, especially focusing on the complicated love and hate between families or the conflicts between traditional and modern values. The third topic is the scars of nation, through the 228 accident and white terror which were written in the novel to talk about the political policy may collapse the structure of a family and also the development of politics changes the nation consciousness of Taiwanese. The fifth chapter will be the final one, I will conclude the research and show the result in this chapter. |
