Responding to the variations of managing model under the competition of internationalization, companies pursue to operate diversely and conglomerate. Most of the companies reinvest by founding subsidiaries or investing in ownerships, therefore, the structure of the company becomes complicated gradually. Financial statements are also opaque owing to the increase of related party transactions under the conglomerate management, which leads to the exposing timing of the financial statement varies. Consequently, the main point of this study is discussing whether the increase in the ratio of related party transactions would impact the timing of the company to declare their consolidated financial statement. Different from how the documents in the past had differentiated related part transaction, we compare the related party transactions from the parent company’s statement and from the consolidated financial statement, and differentiate them into related party transactions of earnings management. The target of our study is the listed companies in Taiwan’s electronic industry, from 2009 to 2012, the total of 4years. And the result reveals that when the company’s consolidated financial statement exists statement complexity of stocking related party transactions or the related party transaction of the earnings management, the higher the ratio gets is, the more it will impact on the company by delaying its timing to declare its consolidated financial statement.
