Social Enterprise as an Approach to Disaster Rehabilitation：NEWAYS 2021 as an Example

| Popis: | 102 In recent years, the ecological environment have changed and causes disasters. To this circumstance, the government works hard to prevent and prepare for disasters struck. On the other hand, social enterprise is an approach to solve social issues. It is an effective way to help people to rebuild community and make them self-reliant. NEWAYS 2021 is a social enterprise which independently of non-profit organization. This study aims to analyzing its core innovation pattern to explores how NEWAYS 2021 solves the problem that caused by disasters. This study used three dimensions of "social entrepreneurship and social transformation" as a research tool to analyze the case. The study find that the core innovation pattern of NEWAYS 2021 is ‘innovation package dissemination’. They proposed "Ume economic circle" concept to link up their stakeholders. In this way, information and technical resources is reconfigured into user-friendly forms that will make marginalized groups obtain these resources. And it can improve marginalized groups’ income and living. NEWAYS 2021 achieves the role of social enterprise and social entrepreneurship by this way, and practices their social objectives, and then contribute to social transformation. |
