Popis: | 102 This study aimed to investigate the impact of 2D and 3D Tangram math games on the spatial ability of 4th grade Elementary school students. Two Elementary school classes from Keelung, comprising 53 schoolchildren took part in this study. The experimental group of students engaged in "2D and 3D Tangram supplementary teaching activities" and "The control group of students engaged in traditional supplementary teaching activities" by using quasi-experimental research methods. The study found that: 1. Students show high learning performance of spatial ability, indicating that the 2D and 3D Tangram math game supplementary teaching model is more effective than traditional supplementary teaching. 2. Different mathematical achievements in the children's spatial learning ability showed that 2D and 3D Tangram math games are more advanced teaching techniques than traditional ways of teaching when it comes to improving the spatial ability of students. 3. Math games demonstrated immediate results in spatial ability learning, supporting subspace learning ability with remarkable outcomes. 4. Mathematical games influence spatial ability learning effectiveness. Moreover, they also have a major effect on two and three-dimensional space, object rotation and the axial rotation of subspace learning ability. 5. The mathematical game has delayed effectiveness in terms of learning spatial ability, regardless of its endurance in overall two and three-dimensional spatial ability, whereas object rotation with learning ability is more persistent than short-term outcomes.
