Kindergarten teachers to explore the use of cooperative learning science teaching children

Popis: | 102 The purpose of the study was to explore the feasibility to implement natural science activities through cooperative learning in a preschool. Qualitative research method was employed. Subjects were from a older-age class which has twelve children. These children were divided into two teams and to understand their interaction behaviors. Data were collected by observations, interviews, children’s works, and related documents. The findings of this study were as follows. 1. It is contributed to improve children’s scientific exploration, observation, and communication abilities through cooperation learning. 2. The cooperation learning strategy can promote children’s interaction and learning climate during the process of natural science learning. 3. The cooperation learning strategy also contributed to find out the difficulties and teaching blind points, which can promote children’s motivation and interests by teacher’s reflections.
