The motivation of this study is encouraged the small scale school to apply the professional equipment and skill of the local community as educational resources, to develop featured curriculum regarding the characteristic of local community. Thus this case study chooses one of junior high school in Miaoli county making use of the resources of local ceramic studio to develop featured curriculum. The issues are about to discuss: 1. How does a teacher combine the community resources with the ceramic curriculum? 2. What influence and development of the ceramic curriculum will make when applying the community ceramic resources into the school? 3. What will teachers and students learn and experience in this collaborative teaching program? This case study is based on the qualitative research which applies methods such as interviews, observations, and teachers’ reflection notes to collect data and evaluate the effectiveness. The case study found: 1. The way of school collaborating with the ceramic studio first needs the school applies funds from the central or local government. The weakness of school to develop the featured course is analyzed by the SWOTS. The resources which school lack of are injected by different ceramic studios and the teacher and the ceramic studio staffs develop courses together. 2. The influence of school taken from the featured curriculum of ceramic not only connects featured curriculum with local community but also enriches the style and content of courses to settle down school character. 3. Both the teacher and the student obtain special learning experience, inspire the interest of ceramic and learn the knowledge of characters of local ceramic and the skill of ceramic. The ceramic staff begins to consider the probability of teaching cooperation and gives some suggestion.
