Popis: | 102 This study investigates the effects and underlying process of authentic leadership, psychological empowerment, and positive affect on employees’ work engagement. It is found that authentic leadership is positively related to employees’ psychological empowerment, positive effect and work engagement. Psychology empowerment and positive affect are found to be positively related to work engagement. In addition, psychological empowerment partially mediates the relationship between authentic leadership and work engagement. Positive affect also partially mediates the relationship between authentic leadership and work engagement. Managerial implications and suggestions for future research are thus discussed. |
