A Study on the Relationship of Land Re-development and Residents' Risk Perception

| Popis: | 102 Environmental Issues are inevitable questions in the recent industrial world. Industries brings economic prosperity, bus also causes pollution. The certain kind of polluted land is also known as Brownfield. Recently, there are some industrial pollution cases, such as the land and underground water pollution of CPDC An-Shun Site and RCA Taoyuan site, which makes residents feel highly concerned about the Environmental Risk of technological development. The article chooses Kaohsiung Oil Refinery as the research site. The residents in the neighborhood fight for greatly resentment of long-term accumulation of pollution. Thus, the government made a promise to finish moving the factory at the end of 2015, but following development for the site hasn’t been set the relationship between the redevelopment of land and the residents through the Environmental Risk Perception of residents. By questionnaire interview, statistic analysis and presenting in GIS map for understanding the difference between higher or lower risk and the spatial distribution. And further comparison of this effect will determine preferences for optimal landuse. The result of research shows that the residents with higher perception for Environmental Risk chose museum and historical park for use. On the other hand, the ones with lower perception for Environmental Risk chose hi-tech petrochemical zone or shopping malls for use. The result could be the reference for the process of future redevelopment or improvement of Kaohsiung Oil Refinery. |
