Then, a diallyl-containing diamine,1,1-bis(3-allyl-4-(4-aminophenoxy)-phenyl)-1-(6-oxido-6H-dibenz oxaphosphorin-6-yl)ethane (3), was prepared from the nucleophilic substitution of (1) with 4-fluoronitrobenzene, followed by the reduction by Fe/HCl. A flexible polyimide (4) with a curable characteristic was prepared from the condensation of (3) and 4,4′-oxydiphthalic anhydride (ODPA) in m-cresol in the presence of isoqunoline. Curing polyimide (4) at 300 oC leads to thermosetting polyimide (5). We discussed the amount of allyl group on Tg, coefficient of thermal expansion, and thermal stability of thermosetting polyimide by comparing the previous data. We found that polyimide with two allyl groups shows better properties than that with one allyl group, and in turn, better than that without allyl group. 2. The three types of diallyl-containing polybenzoxazines were prepared and characterized with 1H-NMR and FT-IR. The resulting polymers were dissolved, cast, and cured to a flexible films, and investigated with DMA,TMA, TGA, Ellipsometry. The glass transition temperature was better than monomer-type benzoxazine. The allyl group were further reacted with different molar ratio of bismaleimide, and the Tg was increased and still remained great thermal stability in resulting thermosets. |
