The main purpose of this study is to explore the relationships among principals' knowledge leadership, school dynamic capabilities, and school innovation management in junior high schools. Furthermore, analyses of the different effects from the different background factors are also discussed. In addition, an interactive model was constructed and confirmed, and some research conclusions and suggestions were offered. This study adopts the questionnaire survey method with the goal of understanding the relationships among principals' knowledge leadership, school dynamic capabilities, and school innovation management in junior high schools. The research framework and theory were constructed after a comprehensive literature review. Participants are 1070 junior high school teachers; chosen randomly from north, central, south, and east regions in Taiwan. A total of 972 questionnaires were received wherein 866 are valid, which equals to a return ratio of 80.93%. The data were analyzed through descriptive statistics, second-order confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis, t-test, Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), and Structure Equation Modelling (SEM). The major findings of the research are as the followings: A.The overall performance of principals' knowledge leadership is moderately high. The item “strategy of knowledge management in principals’ knowledge leadership” was the highest; while the item “learning-oriented leadership in principals’ knowledge leadership” was the lowest. B.The overall performance of school dynamic capabilities is moderately high. The item “innovative flexibility and school position in school dynamic capabilities” were the highest; the item “administrational integration in school dynamic capabilities” was the lowest. C.The overall performance of school innovation management is moderately high. The item “curriculum and teaching activities in school innovation management; the item “administrational management and environmental innovation in school innovation management” was the lowest. D.There are significant differences in the general performance of knowledge leadership, school dynamic capabilities, and school innovation management for junior high school principals in terms of teachers’ gender, age, seniority, academic degrees and positions. E.There are significant differences in the general performance of knowledge leadership, school dynamic capabilities, and school innovation management for junior high school principals in terms of school areas and school history. F.There are no significant differences in the general performance of knowledge leadership, school dynamic capabilities, and school innovation management for junior high school principals in terms of school sizes. G.Knowledge leadership, school dynamic capabilities, and school innovation management modeling for junior high school principals are fair in quality. H.The structural equation model of knowledge leadership, school dynamic capabilities, and school innovation management modeling for junior high school principals was confirmed and supported. I.There are significant and direct effects between principals' knowledge leadership and school dynamic capabilities, and also between school dynamic capabilities and school innovation management. J.The positive effect of principals' knowledge leadership on school innovation management could be moderated by school dynamic capabilities. Finally, according to the research results, the recommendations were given to provide references for educational administration authority, schools, and future studies.
