Simulation of UAV altitude control by using ground distance acquisition data

The main purpose of this study is to apply fuzzy logic method on unmanned vehicle altitude control. Flight altitude control is an indispensable function for high performance UAV control. Currently, the traditional altitude sensors used on UAV are rather function limited. The barometer are lack of direction pointing, the laser range detection is easy to be interfered. In this study, we will use RF sensors for altitude detection. The RF sensor is perfect for altitude detection no matter in anti-interference and practical application. In this study, we will combine the software-in-the-loop concept into the analysis of the noise statistical properties. we will also use the X PLANE 10 flight simulator software to simulate the actual measurement information to perform attitude control during takeoff and landing courses. The method proposed in this study can provide a rapid development framework, which also lower the barrier of unmanned aerial vehicles development significantly and increase the convenience of practical use.
