A Study of Learning Analytics by using Splunk Engine

| Popis: | 102 With the rapidly development of network technology, the learning methods are tended to use Internet technology for digital learning. In these digital learning systems, each system has its own log files. By integrating these independent log files, we can analyze the behavior of learning with these technologies. In this thesis, we use Splunk search engine to analyze three digital learning systems, including "Teaching-Computers", "Cloud-Classrooms", and "Moodle". These three systems will generate five log files, including "e-Classrooms and Computer-Classrooms", "Cloud-Classrooms", "Moodle portal", "Activities for College of Information Technology", and "Activities for College of Applied Languages". We will analyze the usage of teaching-computers and cloud-classrooms. Moreover, we will compare the usage of Moodle for both College of Information Technology and College of Applied Languages. Based on our analysis, we can find the different behaviors between these two colleges. |
