To design a microstrip patch antenna, structural factors should be considered carefully. on The design parameters of the antenna include frequency, bandwidth, field pattern, and antenna gain etc.. However, when the characteristics of the antenna need to be changed, complicated re-designing process should be scheduled. Basically, changing parameters without redesigning the antenna can be done by adding stubs and making slots as well as adding parasitic elements. This study is developed a new method to save the power from the antenna probe feed network for the tuner to adjust the surface current on the radiator. Specifically, we successfully retrieve the power from the antenna probe feed network and adjust the antenna parameters by changing of the surface currents through the tuner circuits. Further development will be employed to design a switch for multiple regulators adjusting the Q value of the antenna to reconfigure the operation frequency, bandwidth, field patterns and antenna gains.
