This research mainly probes into the impact of kindergarten teachers’ religious belief upon individuals and classroom management. Since this qualitative research employed the in-depth interview method, data were collected and analyzed after the interview outline had been drafted. The research subjects are 12 teachers currently working for kindergartens in Taoyuan County, regularly participating in religious events and activities, and having their own religious belief (Buddhism, Christianity, or Soka Gakkai International). The conclusions are:(1) A subject’s being converted to a religion is not affected by single factor. The major factors in questions are ‘Religious Group’, ‘Family’, and ‘Friend’. (2) The major factors keeping the subjects from being converted are ‘Temporal Factors’ and ‘Familial Factors’. (3) The religious belief creates a ‘Holistic Impact’ upon the subjects, and the impact includes improvement of personalities, relief of pressure, reinforcement of faith, and realization of selfhood. (4) Religious belief enables the subjects to learn respect and tolerance, and their interpersonal relationships, e.g. teacher-student, parent-teacher, and colleagues, are therefore improved. (5) Religious belief enables the subjects to deal with younger children’s behavioral problems in a calmer manner. (6) Religious doctrines are being duly incorporated into younger children’s courses through various activities, such as reading classics, life education, religious stories, concepts of environmental protection, and so on. (7) The appropriateness of religious education upon younger children varies among persons; therefore, a neutral attitude must be held, religious preach should be avoided, the standpoints of parents and students as well as the source of teachers need to be taken into consideration. This research indeed identifies the efficacy of kindergarten teachers’ religious belief upon their classroom management. Nonetheless, a teacher has to keep striving for the growth of both selfhood and specialties. Based on its results and limitations, the research offers 12 suggestions to teachers, parents, education-specific competent authorities, or future researchers as references.
