In general, if someone wants to change the speed of the household fan or the fan of industrial heat sink, changing the fan voltage is a means for increasing or decreasing the fan speed, but this method is not convenient and cannot be efficient to scatter heat. This study uses the VisSim dynamic simulator software’s self defined block and combines Fuzzy logic control, DC-DC converter to design a self-tuning dc fan which can change speed itself according to the ambient temperature. Finally, the Taguchi method is used to optimize the membership function for getting better rotary performance.
