The Study of Management Factors on Operation and Maintenance for Constructed Wetland

| Popis: | 102 Constructed wetland is to emulate natural wetlands with water purification function and ecological conservation. The natural purification mechanism could be adopted to deal with sewage with good maintenance and management mechanism, or inducing problems of public health issues and environmental risks. It is necessary to explore the impact on the environment caused by possible factors, such as physical environment aspect (water, soil, pollution, management, etc.), biological and ecological aspect (plants, animals, etc. ), and visual landscape aspect (physical, perceptual, etc.). In this study an investigation sheet was designed to check the management condition for constructed wetland in Nanshih community. The results show that the management of constructed wetland is well as a whole and the environmental cleaning is good. However, the management of aquatic plants is not well due to short budget. Furthermore, the questionnaire of recognition and satisfaction of constructed wetland had been carried out on 151 residents and 49 visitors. Several aspects has been analyzed with Likert’s scale for recognition, function, activity, service and entirety. The results show that the satisfaction score is above average on management of constructed wetland. The obvious difference is observed on “education” which is the key effect on management of constructed wetland for residents. |
