So far, energy sources outage and carbon footprint have been the primary concern issues worldwide. Solar energy has gained much attention, Because of oil resources are running out and Green House effect resulting from the emission of carbon dioxide release leads to global warming change. Solar energy is one of the most promising photovoltaic technologies in the 21st century, Besides Taiwan has been ranked as the fourth large production base in solar cells and modules in 2010. However, the generation cost per Kwh of solar power is still high currently; Thus, people throughout the world are eager to put much attention on finding out how to improve the conversion efficiency of solar energy and to reduce the production costs of solar power. This research focus on four target levels to the process of solar wafer slicing process, A Grade、Thickness、TTV and SM. According to nine effect factors, Every factor was set as two levels, Then use 29-4 partial factor design of experiment to find the optimal solution to the process of solar wafer slicing. To confirm the optimization parameter is suitable in this study. We design five optimization product parameter experiments to confirm the results will be accepted for these optimization parameters.
