| Popis: | 102 The pulse diagnosis has long been an important method in clinical traditional Chinese medical practice. However, the characteristics of the pulse pattern are the results of the interactions among the heart beats, peripheral blood vessels, and the tissues. The quantitative assessment on peripheral tissues and organs by measuring the variations of pulse pattern could unveil some truths. With the concepts of heart rate variability and the pulse pattern, we tried to identify the relation between the pulse pattern variability and the physiological characteristic of the blood circulation. Hopefully it can help find out the meaning of the Chinese medicine standardization through such kind of practical research.Owing to its objective data extraction and its ease of reappearance, the pulse diagnose examination could be developed into a quantitative diagnose measurement for further studies on different diseases. We hope that this research on the variations of pulse wave diagrams can serve as a pioneer study to create the standardization of pulse pattern measurement for Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in the future. |
