This study used Sol-gel method to deposit aluminum-doped zinc oxide films. Furthermore, the precursor solution during preparation process and the steps of drying and carbon removal were applied with the UV radiation. Moreover, the spin coating process was applied with the infrared radiation. Mainly, the UV radiation can induce dissociation of zinc acetate, and zinc hydroxide can be hydrated into zinc oxide. It is expected that infrared radiation heating helps to dry the films and avoid contraction due to surface tension in the spin coating process. The study compared the impact of ultraviolet light and infrared light. FE-SEM, X-ray diffractometer, UV-VIS, four-point probe instruments were used to analyze the films. The results confirmed that, with assistance of ultraviolet and infrared light, the film surface morphology of the island chain was improved to get a flat film. After the film was applied with the UV irradiation, especially with UVC (240-280nm) of the short-wavelength UV light, the crystal orientation (002) is more significant. The visible light transmittance is 97% above. The conductivity is relatively improved, and the lower the resistance value can be obtained.
