Popis: | 101 With the advent of the digital age, has it become even more troublesome for the users to try and find the correct usage instructions from the enormous amount of information provided for multi-functional products, which were originally designed for quick problem shooting? According to Einstein, persistent advancement of civilization lies in our capacity to execute more and more important activities without thinking. In other words, if a product cannot promptly provide its users with a clear operation method, the users will have to learn the correct method from trial and error. This illustrates that direct intuitive product design will become a natural trend in product development. As a matter of fact, a lot of the trivial behaviors occurring in our daily life are affected by the factors hiding in our brain; this kind of behavior with proactive characteristics is referred to as “sub-consciousness”. Sub-consciousness can be triggered to produce intuitive reaction through external sensory stimulation. The reaction is usually abruptly erupted, but, actually, it is the response of our long-term skill learning in a systematic manner. If the psychological reaction of the sub-consciousness can be aptly utilized by applying the influencing factors into product design to draw users’ affections and trigger their rules of experience simply via product interface or appearance features, product affordance will be reinforced and users will be able to correctly operate the product through intuitive reaction. In so doing, life will become more convenient. |
