Popis: | 101 The discourse on the creation is the state of the artist facing the gradually fading memory of growing up from a military dependents'' village, echoing the demolishing of artist’s grandmother’s house, the disappearing of a collective cultural memory, a group history that’s floating between the past and the present, temporarily making a conversation in the form of art with the historical memory through the individual body. The main scheme goes around, creating a form of art involving action, image and painting through painting pink . The painting over can be the painting over and the erasing of memories, or it can also be a sort of varnishing and dressing up, for the passing of the life in the military dependents'' village and everything that once existed. Pink is absurdity and a trick to trigger the memories, and also a feeble self-proclamation and response. Through this creative act and process I kept asking myself, can art really reshape and preserve emotional memories? Is the image fragments that I express through the lenses are going to end up as the unfocused parts of the memories, and finally fade away? One thing is certain, the details are blurred, but the faint memory of pink is becoming a vivid mark, and that is the permanent state that I attempt to capture. The discourse contains four chapters. Chapter 1 describes the artist’s progress of art, and how became the concept according to the thread of history and the geological environment. Chapter 2 explains the title, analyzing the meaning and psychological significance of the color pink. Chapter 3 comprises the analysis and the description on the formality of the work. Chapter 4 lists the references, mainly includes the artists, literatures, movies that are culturally based on the military dependents'' village. Conclusion states the findings in the progress of creating, the possibilities and further developments of future art work. |
